A domain transfer refers to the process of changing the designated registrar of a domain name. Once a transfer has been made, the new registrar will maintain all relevant information regarding the domain and the registrant.

Domain transfers themselves are free of charge, but it will be necessary to pay for 1-year renewal of your domains during transfer submission. The year will be added to the current expiration date (not to the transfer date,) so you will not lose any time left with the current registrar.
How long does a domain transfer take?
14 days A domain transfer may take up to 14 days to be completed. It is difficult to provide an exact timeframe because the procedure depends on the time it takes the owner to confirm the transfer and the time your current registrar takes to accept or reject the transfer.
